The PowerExpander Competition 12 can be used with any size aircraft. It is primarily designed to work with the Futaba and JR 12-channel radios but any receiver with any number of channels can be used with the unit. It can be used with 5-cell NiCd/NiMh or 2-cell A123 battery packs and it has a built-in BatShare which will disable a bad battery pack (it can be used with 2-cell lithium packs if your servos can take the voltage). It supports an optional failsafe switch which enables or disables both batteries. It has a dedicated 5V, 1A regulator for the receiver. The unit also boosts the servo control voltage to 5V for compatibility with all servos. The unit also features a built-in Ignition Cutoff but is sold without the Cutoff Receiver and Fiber-optic cable for jet applications. For detailed information please see the user manual links above the picture.
