HIX heat shrink is the most popular, general purpose heat shrink tubing used for insulating, jacketing, bundling and identification. It is mechanically tough & it will not cold flow. It never melts and will not split when shrunk over irregularly shaped objects. Shrink temperatures between 200° and 300° C are recommended. Longitudinal shrinkage is less than 5%.
