The directional gyro is a gyroscopic navigation instrument designed to provide the pilot with a constant heading reference not subject to innate characteristics of a magnetic compass that causes navigational errors. Vacuum gyro is powered from airflow generated by the aircraft's vacuum system. Dimensions: 3 1/8" Instrument round by 5 5/16" deep. Non-TSO'd.
