ADS-B is a very unique product that requires programming in order for it to operate as designed.

The latest ADS-B transponders broadcast all vital information to ground based sources that identify N-number and aircraft registration information. Introducing this information required is primarily done by trained technicians that simplify the process and Chief has streamlined this process by allowing you to purchase a pre-wired harness with an embedded encoder that works directly with Garmin's GTX series ADS-B units. Chief can also program the FAA ADS-B protocol information in order to ease the installation process for your technician. All that's required afterward is a leak check and paperwork sign off for approval.

Chief Avionics has the Garmin GTX series 335 units with GPS antenna ready to ship and Chief can also supply all your coax needs. Note the GPS WAAS antenna connection on the tray and GPS antenna are TNC connectors, while the L-band antenna and tray signal are BNC connectors. RG400 cable or equivalent coax cable is required.
